Royal Caribbean Cruises : the history
Based in Miami, Florida, Royal Caribbean Cruises Line (part of the Royal Caribbean International group along with Celebrity Cruises, Azamara Club Cruises and Croisière de France) was founded in 1968 in Norway.
Royal Caribbean Cruises offers a wide range of cruises around the world. The company used to own only one ship in 1970, the Song of Norway, which was sold in 1996 while Royal Caribbean was expanding its fleet. Today, the company has 26 ships, but will not stop there, as several other ships are currently under construction, which will allow the company to offer its passengers the opportunity to discover even more destinations aboard ships that are ever more efficient and innovative.
