If  the coconut palms and sandy beaches  don’t seduce you , a cruise to Greenland is just what you need. This huge island between the North Atlantic and the Arctic Ocean is very unique. Shaped in the past by the Vikings and now by the Inuit, this island is full of places to discover.  While immersing yourself in the local culture, set out to discover unexplored lands where you will find huge glaciers and exceptional polar wildlife.

Your Greenland cruise will give you the opportunity to discover new places such as the famous glacier town of Ilulissat, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Greenland also offers breathtaking scenery with the colorful town of Sisimiut and its wooden houses. You will not remain indifferent to the silence of the island which will be abruptly interrupted by the fall of a piece of iceberg. The island is so big and has so many places where nature reigns. The Greenland National Park covers almost half of the island. Classified as a World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO, it is the largest national park in the world. Nature will offer you its most beautiful landscapes which are unfortunately being damaged by the melting ice.

What is the best period to go on a cruise to Greenland?

This is an important question for your future trip. The polar island can reach 20°C in summer. We therefore advise you to go between June and August. With the famous polar days when the sun is present almost all day, you will be able to enjoy your excursions on the island.  If you want to see the Northern Lights, you should go between August and December. With very low temperatures in winter, the northern lights guarantee a magical show. So if you are not afraid of snow and dream of adventure, don't wait any longer and book your  cruise to Greenland.
