Oceania Cruises : The history
Based in Miami, Florida, Oceania Cruises was founded by Joe Watters and Frank Del Rio who are specialists in luxury cruises.
When you cruise with Oceania Cruises, you'll feel free! The space reserved per person is so large that you will have the impression of sailing in complete privacy. Luxury services are offered at very reasonable prices.
Until 2014, Oceania Cruises was part of the Prestige Cruises group. The latter was acquired by Norwegian Cruise Line, which also bought Ocean Princess from Princess Cruises.
The fleet
Oceania Cruises has 6 ships divided into two classes: the Regatta Class and the Oceania Class.
The first class, called "Regatta", consists of 4 prestigious ships. Among them are: MS Regatta, MS Nautica, MS Insignia and MS Sirena. Each of them has a capacity of 700 passengers, so that every passenger feels like they are in a little bubble of happiness.
The MS Marina and MS Riviera belong to the Oceania class. They are larger than the other four other ships and can therefore accommodate 1,250 people on board. However, they guarantee an ideal cruise.
