You can choose from 4 categories of interior cabins on board the Independence of the Seas: interior cabins, interior family cabins, Promenade family cabins and Promenade cabins. Each cabin contains a private bathroom and a double bed that can be converted into two single beds. Measuring between 14 and 28 m², you will find all the comfort you need for a peaceful stay.
The Independence of the Seas has six different types of exterior cabins: the sea view cabin, also available as a family cabin, large cabin, panoramic cabin and large panoramic cabin. In these six types of cabins, you will have a large double bed that can be converted into two single beds or bunk beds (on request), a private bathroom and a small sitting area where you can read a book or admire the view in peace.
There are two types of balcony cabins to choose from on Independence of the Seas: the Superior Balcony Outside Cabin and the Deluxe Balcony Outside Cabin. These cabins offer a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer, a large double bed (convertible into two single beds), a sitting area to relax in and, best of all, a 6m² balcony with a splendid view of the ocean.

The Independence of the Seas has no less than 12 restaurants: Each is more creative and inventive than the others, they will make you travel through your plate. Asia opens its doors at Jade Sushi, enjoy a good pizza at Sorrento's Pizza, taste Tuscany at Giovanni's Table. Enjoy a filet mignon at Chops Grill (extra charge) or delicious burgers at Johnny's Rocket. For a full buffet, take a seat at the Windjammer Café, where you will have plenty of choice. Throughout your cruise, you can also visit the ship's main restaurant and enjoy its specialities.
Craving a good ice cream? The Ben & Jerry's corner will delight you with its ice creams straight from Vermont. A real treat!
After a day full of excursions and discoveries, you will need to relax over a drink in a friendly atmosphere. There are no less than 22 bars on the ship, which are there to serve you whatever you need. Among them, the Piano Bar Schooner will offer you many original cocktails, and the Champagne Bar makes you enjoy a delicious glass of champagne. Enjoy a range of wines at Vintages and the atmosphere of a real English pub at the Dog & Badger.
Finally, the evening will end for sure at the ship's disco where you will dance until the end of the night!
Do you think that days at sea will be long? Think again! Boredom does not exist on board the Independence of the Seas. Enjoy the ship's duty-free shops to buy the latest fashionable dress or a noble fragrance. Fill up your adrenaline at the surfing simulator, climb the climbing wall and challenge your family at the mini golf course. Sports fields, ping pong and a board game room will make the challenges arise for friends and family.
In the evening, head to the Casino or enjoy a fabulous show worthy of the greatest musicals at the Ship's Theater.
Family is the main concern onboard the Independence of the Seas. Your children will never feel bored on board this ship. A dedicated space is available for their greatest pleasure. Your children will share unique moments with their favorite DreamWorks characters. The Adventure Ocean programme welcomes the little ones for fun activities.
The H2O zone welcomes your children in a unique aquatic area: geysers, swimming pools, waterfalls, slides etc. Supervised by a certified team, they will be able to enjoy various educational and fun activities: workshops, treasure hunts, themed evenings and arcade games.
The Vitality Spa welcomes you for a real moment of relaxation filled with softness. This wellness center has a massage room, a relaxation room, a sauna, a steam room, and a hair and beauty salon. Treat yourself both inside and out. Come and enjoy the expert hands of the masseurs and give yourself a well-deserved moment of relaxation with various specialized treatments: facials, body massages, seaweed wraps, acupuncture, there is something for everyone. For some, wellbeing is related to sports. The gym will be entirely at your disposal so that you can let off steam on the latest equipment and you can even take yoga or tai chi classes.
The Independence of the Seas has no less than 4 swimming pools. Four locations with very different atmospheres that will delight everyone. Go to the main pool to enjoy a moment on the deckchairs while watching programmes on the giant screen. One of the pools has a solarium for sunbathing. Children will have their own area with a slide and various water games.
There are also six whirlpools for relaxation while admiring the view.
