What is the best period to go on a cruise on the Irrawaddy?

If you want to travel to Burma, it is important to think carefully about when to do so. As the region has a tropical climate, we don’t advise you to book between February and May. Temperatures at this time of year are quite high, even stifling.  The period between May and October should be avoided too as it  rains a lot. In order to get the most out of your cruise, we recommend that you book your cruise during the dry season between November and February. The temperatures are pleasant and there is little rain.
