Everyone has heard of the Amazon River! This river is one of South America’s wonders. With its 7,025 km, it is the longest river in the world along with the Nile in Egypt.  The Amazon runs through the entire continent, passing through Peru, Colombia, Brazil and Ecuador.  It rises in the Andes and flows into the Atlantic Ocean.

During your excursions, you will learn more about the culture of the local people. The Indians will share the secrets of the river with you. Discover the remains of ancient temples or historical villages.

The Amazon has unparalleled cultural and natural wealth. During your Amazon cruise, you will have the chance to explore the Anavilhanas National Park. This park offers an incredible diversity of flora and fauna. Pink dolphins and migratory birds are also on the agenda.  The phosphorescent stars and multi-coloured sunrises will bring  magic to your trip.

When to go on a cruise in the Amazon?

If you are planning to book your cruise to Amazon, we advise you to go between June and October. The climate is mild. You will enjoy the best travel conditions in October. It is precisely during this month that the river is at its lowest, allowing its fauna and flora to appear. We therefore advise you to avoid traveling there between April and May. This season is often sunny but tropical rains are almost daily.
