The Explorer of the Seas offers two types of cabins: interior cabins and Promenade cabins (on the Royal Promenade side). Each of the cabins offers an ergonomic, comfortable and affordable space. Each cabin has a large double bed that converts into two single beds, a lounge area with a sofa for relaxing, a dressing table and a bathroom. Cabins vary in size from 14 to 15 m².
The Explorer of the Seas offers a wide variety of staterooms, with three categories of exterior cabins: sea view cabins, large sea view cabins and family sea view cabins. Large and bright, these cabins have two single beds that can be converted into a double bed for more comfort, a lounge with a sofa, a dressing table and a bathroom. For larger families opting for a family cabin with a sea view, there are additional bunk beds. These cabins can measure 15 m², 16 m² or 25 m².

The Royal Babies and Tots will welcome the little ones from 6 to 36 months in a nursery while the older ones from 3 to 17 years old will have fun in the Adventure Ocean play area. Children aged 3 to 5 years old will have fun thanks to the Aquanauts programme, which includes circus, art and drawing workshops. Each age group has a dedicated club, like the 6-8 year olds with the Explorer Club. The Explorer Club has computers, video games and bingo games for the little ones. The 9-11 year olds can let off steam at the Club Voyageurs with recreation, sports and reading sessions. Older children have a playground that is open until 2am. The Explorer of the Seas was renovated in 2014 to offer you incredible wellness services. 14 massage rooms, a hair and beauty salon and a relaxation area are waiting for you! During your cruise, you will have the opportunity to opt for a multitude of treatments ranging from acupuncture sessions to Medispa treatments and body scrubs. Pamper your body with pedicures, body and face treatments and hair care. Our offer also includes body wraps, teeth whitening and manicure, not to mention hair removal. Royal Caribbean did not forget sports lovers thanks to a huge fitness area covering more than 1400 m². This fitness area has 20 treadmills, 14 elliptical bikes, 8 steps, dozens of free weights and benches. If you want to be accompanied, group spinning, yoga and tai chi classes are organized in our gym.
Royal Caribbean has four swimming pools onboard every ship belonging to the Voyager class.
On board the Explorer of the Seas, you will find four pools and six Jacuzzis. The pools are close to each other and are easily accessible for disabled persons. A hydraulic lift is available.
To fill up on vitamin D in peace and quiet, adults can head to the Solarium. With a retractable glass roof in case of bad weather, the solarium will offer passengers a full moment of relaxation thanks to its pool and two whirlpools.
